The University of Bath is holding a Languages Day for Year 12 students in the region who are currently studying French, Spanish or German at AS level (or equivalent). The Languages Day will take place on Wednesday 24 June and feature French, Spanish and German sessions which will focus on themes which reflect the specialist research areas of UWE's academic staff and of guest speakers. Where possible these themes will tie with in with current A level topic areas. There will also be a plenary talk on studying languages at university and taster sessions in Arabic Japanese, Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Italian.
