Routes into Languages SW is delighted to offer secondary schools an exciting opportunity to take part in the new initiative -- Bristol French Drama Festival, which will take place on Saturday 16th March 2013 at the University of the West of England.
You can learn to run a French theatre club for your pupils, culminating with a fun performance for all! Pupils will perform a piece prepared in their drama club and share it with other participants, friends and families!
The training workshop for French teachers is aimed at running a theatre club at your school to participate in the festival in March and will give you numerous ideas on how to develop such a club. You and the pupils will then have 5 months to prepare a short piece, which they will perform on stage on Saturday 16th March. (There may be the opportunity for subsequent informal meetings in between.)
The training workshop for French teachers will be held on Friday 19th October at the University of the West of England at 4.30 - 6.30 pm.
Cost: £20 per teacher
Please note that this session is not suitable for French assistants. The training workshop for French assistants will be held earlier on the same day (at 1.30 - 4 pm).
For further information please download the flyer below.
The deadline for registration is Friday 12th October. Places will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
