Italian Style offers pupils an exciting opportunity to meet two well-known Italian authors Paolo Nori and Daniele Benati. These authors will give readings from their most recent novels in the morning.
The afternoon will begin with a two hour taster session that will introduce pupils to Italian language and culture and also provide a languages talk on careers in translating, from and into all languages, not just Italian.
The taster session is followed by a talk by Franco Nasi, a writer and translator into Italian of many famous English authors. Both Nori and Benati also work as translators and will be able to provide additional insight into translating as a career.
