2012 Olympics Board Game Competition

This is a competition for groups of Year 9 pupils to devise and create a languages board game for a clearly defined target market with a sport/Olympics theme.

There will be prizes for the winning group and a copy of the winning game will be manufactured by Adrenaline Brush Ltd (a game designing company).

The winning school will receive a CULP4SC course for a maximum of 20 pupils in a choice of 6 languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, Arabic). For more information on CULP4SC click here

Routes into Languages East Sing to the Future: Language BeatZ Competition

A competition for Year 8's, using the curriculum to create songs...

 

The winners of the 2012/13 final held at Anglia Ruskin University on 6th June were

1st   Où es tu allé?                         Birchwood High School

2nd  Respectate por quien eres       Hinchingbrooke School

3rd   Bon pour la santé                    Sawtry Community College

Congratulations to them all and to all the finalists - they did absolutely brilliantly!!!

Also the Teacher's pack is available for everyone and many choose to do the project, but not enter the competition - ie the competition is an optional extra
