SOAS is working in conjunction with ConsentedUK to deliver a range of activities, which aims to critically engage with students. It aims to open up the history of Afro-Carribean people in the UK.
It will be an interactive day. Students will have to engage with academic lectures and use the information they have been provided in a debate.
The workshop will include:
- African language tasters
- Workshops on black history run by ConsentedUK
- A debate
- Talk on studying at university and university life
This event is open to years 9, 10 and 11.
