This one-day event (10am-3pm) on campus will give Year 8 pupils a miniature experience of studying a language at university. It will develop their skills in the language they currently study, give them a taster session of another language, and inform them about the opportunities that speaking another language can offer. Close work with our language tutors and current language students will allow pupils a real insight into studying languages.
Please note that 10 places are available per school and that schools may attend one of the two days on offer.
Royal Holloway’s cancellation policy for Outreach events will apply. Notice of any drop outs must be given one month prior to the event so that the places can be filled, otherwise a cancellation fee will be levied, and the school will be placed on a reserve list for future events.
