Foreign Language Spelling Bee 2015
The Foreign Language Spelling Bee is a FREE competition for students in Year 7, helping them to practise and improve their vocabulary, spelling and memory skills in a foreign language (French, German or Spanish).
The competition is hugely popular with both pupils and teachers, with almost 30 schools attending the Regional Final in 2014.
This exciting competition takes pupils through a journey from class level to national level, learning a bank of 50 words at each stage.
The competition is open to new learners of French, German and Spanish.
Please go to www.flsb.co.uk and click on the sign up button in the top right-hand corner to register, using your school email address and filling in all the requested information.
You will then get an activation email and you'll be able to log in to your dashboard and access the Teacher's Pack with all the information about the Spelling Bee competition.
This year we are thrilled to have the continuing sponsorship of Vocab Express!
Not only are they now hosting the Spelling Bee website, but as a result of their sponsorship competitors’ schools will have free access to their online vocabulary learning platform for the duration of the Spelling Bee, for the words included in the competition. The national winner’s school in each language will also be awarded a free KS3 subscription to Vocab Express for 2015/2016.
