On Monday 4th February 2008 members of the Routes into Languages programme went on air to discuss the shortage of interpreters with Libby Purves on Radio 4's The Learning Curve.
Heather McGuinness, Programme manager for Routes into Languages was joined on air by Brian Fox, European Commission; Dr Svetlana Carsten, director of the National Network for Interpreting and Sophie Llewellyn - Smith, University of Leeds discuss the issue.
