Bespoke analysis of the Hobsons’ 2007 school-leaver data, commissioned by Routes into Languages
The aim of the analysis was to support the ongoing work of Routes into Languages relating to awareness and uptake of languages, provide an insight into student attitudes to languages, focusing on key sub-groups and paint a picture of school and college leavers and explore the particular perceptions and behaviours of students who expressed an interest in studying languages at university, as well as those who do not intend to continue with languages.
