The National Networks for Interpreting and Translation and Routes into Languages South West are delighted to invite all sixth-form and undergraduate students to attend the annual Career's Event on Wednesday 27th January 2016 at 2 - 5.30 pm at the University of Bath.

Guest speakers include representatives from the National Network for Interpreting and International Court of Justice and Bath alumni.

This event is open to all sixth-form and undergraduate students. Year 11 students are also welcome to attend.

Attendance is FREE but prior registration is required.

Careers in Translation and Interpreting

On 25 February 2015 from 1pm to 5.30pm, the University of Manchester will host a national careers event on behalf of the National Networks for Translation and Interpreting. A diverse employer panel will talk about the range of career options on offer in the professions and an alumni panel will share experiences and advice.

We will also have a student panel who will give participants a feel for what it is really like to train as a translator, interpreter or subtitler.

The panels will be followed by a chance to network and refuel before a choice of practical taster sessions with translation, interpreting and audiovisual translation lecturers.

The Routes into Languages National Network for Translation in collaboration with Routes into Languages West Midlands would like to invite you to an event entitled “Careers in Translation and Interpreting” to be held at Aston University from 12.30pm – 4.30pm on 4th December, 2013.

 

The afternoon event is aimed Sixth Form and undergraduate students who are thinking of a career in the translation and interpreting industry. There will be speakers from various different backgrounds within the industry – from freelance and public service to EU and GCHQ – giving their experiences and advice.

 

The event is free and open to all students in any university, so tell your friends!
